Floatplane facilities

Coal Harbour is a floatplane hub connecting downtown Vancouver to Victoria, Nanaimo, Whistler, the Sunshine Coast, the Gulf Islands and many more destinations along the coasts of British Columbia. In addition each of the air lines offer aerial tours of the region for our visitors who wish to enjoy an exhilarating perspective of the Lower Mainland.

The activity and sounds generated by these planes within the downtown area has resulted in lots of plane watching from the various vantage points around Coal Harbour

Due to the expansion of the convention facilities the terminals have been moved around but will stay in their present location until the floatplane terminal included in the new project becomes available.
