COAL HARBOUR
Vancouver
British Columbia - CANADA
Seawall Promenade
Vancouver is famous for its many seawalls providing opportunities for walks along the water's edge. The best known is the Seawall encircling Stanley Park. The newest addition is the seawall promenade of Coal Harbour. Stretching from just west of Canada Place (due to the construction of the new waterfront convention centre) to where it joins the Stanley Park seawall. This section, as all the others, has lanes for cyclists and bladers as well. There are lots of benches, rest stops and green spaces for picnics and enjoying the view. Along the way are several establishments for dining, snacks and refreshments.
These images should provide you with ample reasons to become acquainted with this new addition to the Vancouver Seawalls, which now except for a few minor detours extend from Canada Place, around Stanley Park, the West End to the entrance of False Creek, over to Science World and all the way back to Kitsilano.
