Emile is a treatise on the nature of education and on the nature of man written by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, who considered it to be the "best and most important of all my writings". Due to a section of the book entitled "Profession of Faith of the Savoyard Vicar," Emile was banned in Paris and Geneva and was publicly burned in 1762, the year of its first publication. During the French Revolution, Emile served as the inspiration for what became a new national system of education. The work tackles fundamental political and philosophical questions about the relationship between the individual and society— how, in particular, the individual might retain what Rousseau saw as innate human goodness while remaining part of a corrupting collectivity. Its opening sentence: "Everything is good as it leaves the hands of the Author of things; everything degenerates in the hands of man." Rousseau seeks to describe a system of education that would enable the natural man he identifies in The Social Contract to survive corrupt society He employs the novelistic device of Emile and his tutor to illustrate how such an ideal citizen might be educated. Emile is scarcely a detailed parenting guide but it does contain some specific advice on raising children.[5] It is regarded by some as the first philosophy of education in Western culture to have a serious claim to completeness

Rousseau is known as the forerunner of the French Revolution. He called for a "return to nature" which included a society demonstrating true equality. Rousseau's main philosophical works, which outline his social and political ideals, include: The New Eloise; Emile, or On Education; and The Social Contract. Rousseau was the first political philosopher who, while exploring the origins of the state, attempted to explain the causes of social inequality and its forms. He believed that the state existed through a social contract with the people. Rousseau's writings rebuke modern society for inequalities, while providing ethical instruction and encouraging the science of compassion. We share a spiritual journey with a singular purpose...that we feel Loved, unconditionally. Here is a heart-to-heart communication of experience that goes far beyond conception, designed with heart to walk with the reader step-by-step on a destined path. Many religions employ metaphors to communicate more deeply, as does Heartfelt. Here too are a lifetime's epiphanies, simple poetry in the language of the heart, practical experience opportunities to try this moment, and playful, heart-awakening story times for the inner child in everybody. Every word here is a prayer of gratitude to True Source. What is True Source? We may have some name picked out for the one True God, Love, Universe, Allah, or True Source...but only a feeling and an attitude can open the connection. The attitude is being Loved, and Heartfelt is a map of many paths to this singular destination. ♡ .."very beautiful.." Irmansyah Effendi, M Sc., Founder of Reiki Tummo, Open Heart Meditation, Secrets of Natural Walking, and Padmacahaya International Institute for Inner Study, says of Heartfelt.

We live in a culture where many identify as "Christian" without fully embracing what it looks like to follow Jesus day-in and day-out. After gathering on a Sunday, do we simply go about our business, void of true transformation? Is the gospel simply a self-help tool, the church just a place where our needs can be met? It's time to ask ourselves, "Am I really following Jesus? Or am I just faking it?" With eye-opening personal stories, Scripture, and thought-provoking questions, Andi Andrew lovingly invites readers to examine their hearts to discover whether their faith is a genuine, life-giving marriage of belief and practice in response to Christ's life and sacrifice, or if it is just a lifestyle choice on par with any other. She encourages readers to surrender their whole lives to Jesus daily, grapple with hard questions they may have been avoiding, and discover a life fully alive, following in the way, the truth, and the life of Jesus Christ.

Struggle is an unavoidable part of self-employment. Nothing ever comes easy, when you are trying to build towards your dreams. Difficulties and hardship will be your constant companions. But there have been people before you. There have been people, who passed through a similar struggle, as you are doing now. And, there are people, who are facing it right now. You are certainly not alone in your struggle. And her poem, "STRUGGLE AND SUCCESS ARE INSEPARABLE" clearly depicts that. Another poem "ETHICAL BEINGS" sheds light on the current pandemic that the world is undergoing warrants that this is perhaps the most difficult time we are ever going to face in our lives. It is even more difficult for the doctors who are working tirelessly to ensure that all those that are infected are provided with proper medical facilities. Their contributions and hard work deserve our gratitude each and every day. Everyone in the family appreciates the wife for, being a superwoman but nobody looks at the man who supports her all the time yet he doesn’t complain. This issue has been clearly highlighted in her poem "WHAT ABOUT THE MAN IN WOMAN". Being a woman can be tough at times. We have stereotypes to break, jobs to excel at, families to care for, lives to lead, friends to hang out with, and a world to run. Sometimes we're so busy making sure everything gets done, we forget to look to the women who have paved the way for all of our awesomeness. When you will come across the poem "WOMANHOOD" we can get all these vibes packed within it! The most beautiful thing about a heart is that it can hide several emotions It feels perfect. There are lots of thoughts which we always want to share but always keep them a secret hiding deep in our heart. INVINCIBLE is the collection of all those poems depicting the beautiful thoughts and the emotions buried deep inside the heart Sweta hopes that the book will bring light to those who have forgotten how it looks, and she wants her readers to know that it always gets better and that even the simplest things in life can bring joy.

Yet we all come to a point in life when we realize that we are not in control. A loved one gets sick, a tragedy occurs, our plans backfire. What we may not realize is that even if we can't depend on our circumstances or even ourselves, there is One who will always provide what we need, just when we need it. With compassion and enthusiasm, Meredith McDaniel invites you to walk alongside God's people in Exodus as they wake up each morning to manna, God's provision for them in desert places. Along the way, you will develop a comforting awareness that you are seen, guided, protected, and filled by a good God in the person of Jesus.

For almost two thousand years, Christians have asked two essential questions: “What would Jesus do?” and “What would Paul say?” Paul wrote more of the New Testament than anyone else did, and he dealt with the basic problems of his day: What should Christians do about marriage? What should the relationship be between Jews and Christians? What is the Christian responsibility to the state? What about ethnic differences? What about male and female relationships? But Paul did not answer the specific questions many Americans are now asking about marriage, interfaith relationships, illegal immigrants, and the authority of government. Now, one respected Christian writer has put suggested answers in the form of new letters from Paul to Americans. Following the pattern of Paul’s letters to Rome, Corinth, and Galatia, a priest of the Episcopal Church has written letters in Paul’s name to Washington, California, Texas, and other American cities and states. Whether encouraging, insightful, useful, or controversial, these letters are a serious attempt to make Paul directly relevant to our time and issues. This book is a call for American Christians to think more carefully about the relationship between faith and society, and to seek purposeful, biblical living.
