Come and meet Yeshua Adoni, your "Knight in Shining Armor". Yeshua, the Hebrew name for Jesus, is calling to you, "Come away with me, my Beloved. If you are someone who has been "looking for love in all the wrong places," as the old song says, then you need to read The Secret Place. Whether you are a Christian or not, you will be drawn close to Jesus and see that He loves you; indeed that He is the lover of your broken heart. This allegory of love follows the Beloved as she faces many trials and tribulations. Jesus, however, is her Comforter and teaches her how to overcome them all. In "the secret place," the quiet garden of the Lord, He heals her fears, hurts and injustices. Able now to move forward, she becomes strong for Him. The Secret Place will introduce you to your Comforter and help you find healing from past traumatic experiences. A study guide is included for those who wish to continue in a deeper relationship with Jesus.

How have Jews reshaped their identities as Jews in the face of the radical newness called America? Julian Levinson explores the ways in which exposure to American literary culture--in particular the visionary tradition identified with Ralph Waldo Emerson and Walt Whitman--led American Jewish writers to a new understanding of themselves as Jews. Discussing the lives and work of writers such as Emma Lazarus, Mary Antin, Ludwig Lewisohn, Waldo Frank, Anzia Yezierska, I. J. Schwartz, Alfred Kazin, and Irving Howe, Levinson concludes that their interaction with American culture led them to improvise new and meaningful ways of being Jewish. In contrast to the often expressed view that the diaspora experience leads to assimilation, Exiles on Main Street traces an arc of return to Jewish identification and describes a vital and creative Jewish American literary culture.

This study takes as its premise that the novel, which is fascinating for both what it reveals and what it conceals, carries within itself a coherence of meaning. It is widely acknowledged that religious categories of understanding are necessary for a proper interpretation of the novel, but it is common to conclude that Mikhail Bulgakov's outlook is heterodox. This study places him within the theological tradition of Eastern Orthodoxy.

Appropriately, this absolutely fascinating book carries the title of the most perfect prayer we know - the one the Lord Jesus Christ Himself taught us to pray, to impart to us the true principle of spiritual prayer. I Can Learn to Pray - The Lord's Prayer - The Prayer of the Kingdom, is for anyone who wants to know God better as "Father." This book is unique for its simplicity and direct appeal to the deepest religious yearnings of mankind. It is, within itself, the answer to the heartfelt prayer of anyone who has expressed the dominant concern to "seek" but have not found the One in tune with the diverse challenges and joys of their life. Each chapter has instructional writings and thought-provoking meditations along with inspirational quotations from the Bible, and the writing is expressed in a Father-child interactive conversation. It is the book's intent that countless numbers of people will be guided to lives made happier, richer, and nobler by the wisdom gathered in its pages. Winsome Walters had an unlikely beginning for the Christian life. Her father, hard-working and devout, sternly reminded her, "I want my children to serve God." But although she was devoted to the ideals of her father's moral teachings, Ms. Walters was not prepared to commit to his exacting spiritual ambitions, and so she decided, I'll get away from God.and find my freedom. But when God wants to find you, He knows where you are - even if you're miles away spiritually playing hide and seek. As a result of a remarkable experience in her life, Ms. Walters gave her heart to the Lord. With exceptional tenacity she continues her love for Christ at an unstoppable pace. Her commitment to loving God, combined with the empathy, care, and love she has for those whom Christ died, has inspired her to write this book.

"The Shepherd is Yeshua of Nazareth, son of the wealthy landowner and builder Yusuf and his young second wife Meriam. Although in outward form young Yeshua's life is not different from that of his contemporaries, the handsome boy who fights a panther to protect his flock, composes mystical psalms, debates with the rabbis and has a new concept of the glory of God is obviously not like other mortals. At 17 when Yusuf dies, Yeshua obeying his father's last wish seeks to learn more of the world and himself by traveling. He learns the Greek way of life as an apprentice to a great actor; the ways of Egypt by studying in the temple of Isis, and when in the desert he rises from the grave where Arab robbers placed him, Yeshua is ready through this mystical renewal to join the contemplative order of the Essenes for a time. Returning to his mother's house a man of 30, knowing now that he is the Chosen One, he seeks out his cousin Yona, is baptized by him and revealed to Yona's followers as the Messiah. A curious mixture of the archaeological and the mystical in tone, context and style this unusual novel is, if not always credible, consistently interesting."--Kirkus

My heart yearns for the glory of the Lord Jesus to be revealed in the earth, touching the hearts and souls of men, women and children in each and every nation. As we see the days become darker, we believe that the Lord God of Israel will show Himself strong, and prove that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, as He says He is. I wrote this book for you who also long to walk in strong faith, courage and commitment to the end, for whatever the Lord has planned and purposed for you and I. Together, as the Body of Christ, and the glorious Bride that we will become, we will one day see His Kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. The Gospel, the Good News of salvation, will be declared, and that which is just and good will for all eternity overcome the evil one. I sincerely believe we are living in the end of days, as prophetic words have been rapidly fulfilled since the re-birth of Israel in 1948. Jesus Himself had said that when we see the fig tree budding, we know that the time is near. This book, my 10th published in the last three years (all between 2013-2015) and before my 61st birthday, is very special to me. I sense it is something the Lord put on my heart to do several months ago, giving it that "urgency of getting it done and out there" feel as I wrote. Originally these chapters were Now Think On This messages. It was amazing to me how many were done in September and October of 2015 alone, as the Holy Spirit would speak a word or sentence to me, and I would write soon after. I am truly grateful for His impartation, and acknowledge Jesus (Yeshua), my Lord and Savior, above all. The photos I have included in the book are primarily ones I took (exceptions noted), both to document history and to share another way the Lord also speaks to His Body. Capturing moments of the Holy Spirit action, especially in the two "fire" photos, were exciting. In both cases I wasn't even aware of it until they were "developed." I trust this book will both encourage you and cause you to re-commit yourself - to know the Lord's will for your life, do all you can to allow Him to direct your steps, and be the light in these dark days we desperately need and have been called upon by the Lord to be. I am with you, arm in arm! Ahava (love in Hebrew) and shalom (peace), Steve Martin

Are you new to the Christian faith, or do you oversee a group of new believers? Then "First Steps" is the book that you need to grow and become strong in your relationship with your Heavenly Father through the work of Yeshua...Jesus the Messiah. INTRODUCTION First Steps is a basic discipleship course aimed at helping new Christian believers grow in their understanding and application of spiritual truths. The course is also for those who have questions concerning God and His Word who may not yet have made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. (Yeshua Messiah). I was prompted by the Lord to write the course in order to set out some Biblical truths for new believers; First Steps is suitable for use in small discipleship groups or can be used for individuals. It was born out of an earnest desire to see new Christians established on a firm foundation in both knowledge of Scripture and obedience to God's eternal Word. It reflects a growing understanding in my personal walk with God, and in many other Christians today, of the Jewish roots of our faith. In the light of this revelation there is a vital need to read and apply God's Word. My prayer is that the Lord will use this simple resource to bless, enlighten and facilitate spiritual growth in all who take the time to study and walk out the Scriptural truths contained within it. Note: Throughout the course we will refer to Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus, thus His true name) and often use the term Messiah rather than Christ, the latter being from the Greek translation of 'Messiah' - 'Christos', meaning 'Anointed One'. A Personal Background to the Course My name is Margaret Buckley. My earlier years were spent in both Assemblies of God Pentecostal churches and in a House Fellowship. My grandfather Charles Buckley was a pioneer Pastor within the Assemblies of God group of churches, hosting men like Smith Wigglesworth in his home. Though I never met him I grew up hearing many wonderful accounts from my parents of God's power at work to heal and deliver from sin. This, together with my parents' Godly example during my formative years, planted in me a deep respect for God's Word and a recognition of His power to heal and deliver through the ministries of true men and women of God. I have been discipling new believers for many years, leading Alpha courses and small Bible Study groups, also discipling individuals. I have had the privilege of witnessing many wonderful, life-changing responses to God's Word. Around the year 2000 I began to understand the heart of God for Israel, His people and Land, as He gave me revelation of their great significance in His plan and of my responsibility to pray for Israel. Soon after this the Lord brought me into contact with Mike and Shirley Fryer and it was my privilege to join with them in their small Fellowship in Mold, North Wales. I became actively involved in the developing ministry of this Fellowship which later became Father's House Sabbath Congregation, and have been an active leader since. As we learned more about the Feasts of the Lord, including Sabbath, I realised that I had been interpreting much of the Bible according to man's tradition and teaching. I had a deep awareness that He had directly guided me to this place of new understanding of Torah -often translated 'Law' in our Bibles but the real meaning being instructions or teaching. Since then, I have walked this path with great gratitude to the Lord and a sense of deep security as we align ourselves with His calendar in observing joyfully the Appointed Times of the Lord which we read of in Leviticus chapter 23.
