This book was inspired by the inner man within. He brought out the invisible parts and showed me his power, that when hope is gone, people become out of order. He showed me that everyone has a treasure buried within, but very few are looking for it. He told me about success and the price we pay when we receive it, how the inner man guides the fleshy body to fall in order. It's the power of the Almighty God. And your faith within. I pray that all will line up to order that the God of this universe has placed. Your very own life depends on it. It's the missing parts that we all need""love. It lines up to the very order that has been given in spirit""man that is within, which is the Savior of the world. He alone connects you to the spirit that lies within, talking about the unseen parts of the body. Spirit man!

Butch, as his father began calling him before he was old enough to walk, was just a simple country boy, living a simple country life in western North Carolina during the early 1950's. That is, until he encountered the same assailant that was attacking many other children during this same period...polio. Although only five and a half years-old at the time he was hospitalized by the harmful disease, the memories of the terrible ordeals he faced were indelibly seared into his brain. This occurred during a time when local hospitals were being overrun by children stricken by the epidemic, until the only one that would admit them, in that part of the state, was an old refurbished mansion tucked away in the mountains, just outside of Asheville. The old building was soon filled to capacity with sick children. So much so, that volunteer nurses were sent there by the American Red Cross, and could only be housed in tents supplied by the army. This predicated a very regimented and barracks-style treatment that would be frowned upon in today's more politically correct society. Butch spent six long weeks there without the comfort and security of his parents, and very little empathy from the nurses to make up for it. After finally being released, he was left with a withered upper torso and an emotionally scarred mind. His army-trained, domineering father seemed to think he had a cure for the former, but the latter went untreated, and soon became even worse. Just when it appeared all hope was lost and the boy would never be able to resume a normal childhood, a little puppy mysteriously enters his life and, suddenly, everything is changed. What transpires afterward, is a series of astounding and miraculous events that defy logic and understanding, until the dog, just as mysteriously, departs.

Like almost everyone, Carl Binger has had moments where he’s wondered why he is in such a funk. He is one of many who have suffered from depression. When it has hit, he has struggled with fighting disinterest in possessions, hobbies, and even Jesus. Binger gives readers a raw and real look at depression through personal testimony and psalm in this memoir that includes wonderful illustrations and poems. As you read, you will learn how to: • let go and overcome feelings of guilt; • develop a meaningful relationship with the Lord; • eliminate behaviors that are holding you back; • overcome feelings of helplessness. Throughout the book, Binger shares a candid account of his struggles in college and how he was almost arrested on one occasion. He also shares how becoming a believer delivered him from the need to smoke marijuana. The book was written for the express purpose of letting those who suffer from depression know that they are not alone—and they can turn their heart and eyes to Jesus Christ for help.
