A dangerous game at the end of the earth… For French Foreign Legionnaire Cody Castillo, chasing deadly thrills is the only reprieve from a bloodstained past he can’t forget. But when the adrenaline junkie finds himself caught in a mass murderer’s crosshairs in the lonely wilds of New Zealand, he finds an unexpected—and intriguing—ally. Former air force pilot Tia Kupa has always found safety in nature, until a killer turns the wilderness into a playground. In this life-or-death game, the guarded woman who lives by the rules must rely on a risk taker with a death wish. The sexy devil-may-care legionnaire may be the wrong guy for her, but desire is just as primal as terror. Even if they outrun a predator, they can’t escape the sizzling bond neither of them saw coming.

“Forgive me sweetheart. I should’ve called you the moment I reached Saudi Arabia. After reaching Saudi Arabia, it took me two weeks for organizing everything.” Su said, “What name should I use to save your number?” Rafiq replied, “Why? The name Rafiq is good enough, isn’t it?” “No. it’s a very common name. I’ll save your number as Hissain.” Rafiq asked, “What’s the meaning of it?” “Gem.” Rafiq smiled and said, “Then let it be so.” That’s the story of a secret love. Love that overcomes difficulties and diversities. Myanmar: the number of Rohingya Muslims has increased in Ruthi Daung district. At the moment they are majority only in Maung Dao in the border area but if things continue like this one day their number in Ruthi Daung will also exceed the Buddhist population. …Than Kin looked at his master and said, “I’m scared to even think about what’ll happen to us then. In Maung Dao the quarrels between Hindus and the Muslims never end. The Hindus and Buddhists are fed up with these Rohingyas pestering them. Be it today or tomorrow, I think we have to take out the seed of this chaos.” Some time ago, the author visited the Shamlapur Refugee Camp at Cox’s Bazaar. There, he met the Rohingya refugees and heard their stories. When he returned, he undertook the project to portray the genocide committed against them. Tarek Masud, the second child of Mr. Abu Mohsin and Latifa Akhter, was born on 9th November, 1963, at Dhaka Medical College. For a while he studied in the US, but later he came back and received BA and postgraduate degrees on English Literature from Dhaka International University, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Following his grandfather’s footsteps, he had been in the teaching profession for almost 20 years, before entering the world of literature. With a profound fascination for Bangla Literature, after retirement, he wrote his first novel titled Rahmat Ali. It was followed by two collections of short stories Poncho Batika (Five Tablets) and Spondon (The Pulse). His latest novel is called The Harbinger.

On 6 February 1819, Stamford Raffles, William Farquhar, Temenggong Abdul Rahman and Sultan Hussein signed a treaty that granted the British East India Company the right to establish a trading settlement on the sparsely populated island of Singapore. Forbidden Hill (Singapore Saga, Vol. 1) is a meticulously researched and vividly imagined historical narrative that brings to life the stories of the early European, Malay, Chinese and Indian pioneers – the administrators, merchants, policemen, boatmen, coolies, concubines, slaves and secret society soldiers – whose vision and intrigues drive the rapid expansion of the port city in the early decades of the nineteenth century. While Raffles and Farquhar clash over the administration of the settlement, theScottish merchant adventurer Ronnie Simpson and Englishwoman Sarah Hemmings find love and redemption as they battle an American duelist and Illanun pirates. As the ghosts of the rajahs of the ancient city of Singapura fade into the shadows of Forbidden Hill, the new settlers forge their linked destinies in the ‘emporium of the Eastern seas’.

Intrigued by a persistent rumor of a hidden secret his grandfather Don Melchor Garza had kept and carried to his grave, the thirty-nine-year-old Beyong set out from Manila to his hometown of Tigaon in Camarines Sur, Philippines, to meet with his elderly Uncle Pamfilo Interino for a conversation regarding the matter. What he found out from his uncle's roadmap of stories, marred with twists and turns, was a network of women associated with Don Melchor in romantic consensual relationships; but nearly all the women carried an open association with the Spaniard, as Don Melchor was known, except for one woman who dwelt in anonymity and wore an elegant and gleaming bracelet of gold on her right wrist whom his uncle pinned with certainty as the bearer of the secret until another final twist in the colorful adventure saga of the Spaniard occurred unexpectedly to confirm, or negate, Beyong's discovery.
