Hi. I see you’re reading the back of my book. This tells me that you either: A) are hoping to find a brief summary of what to expect from a how-to book by Sterling Archer, the world’s greatest secret agent, or B) don’t know how books work. If your answer was “A,” your best bet is probably the table of contents, which is where you’ll find the “contents” of this book listed in a convenient, easy-to-read “table” format. So maybe go check that out for a minute and then come back here. I’ll wait. . . . Pretty cool, right? What other book will teach you how to dress properly and how to drive an elephant? How to field strip an AK-47 and how to haggle with a Thai prostitute—in her native tongue? How to pilot an airboat and how to make about a million delicious cocktails, including a Molotov one? How to kill a guy and how to prepare a fabulous brunch? Plus how to do tons of other stuff that I forgot, but that is nonetheless probably in this book (which, to be honest, I really only kinda skimmed). So if you want to learn more about how to be more—or at all—like Sterling Archer, the world’s greatest secret agent, quit smearing your greasy fingerprints all over this book and buy it. For one thing, I really need the royalties. For another thing, the last time I checked, this wasn’t a damn library. (Note: If your answer was “B,” this probably isn’t the book you want to start with.)

Lying is like 95% of what I do. But believe me: in this book, I’ll let you know exactly how to become a master spy just like me. Obviously, you won’t be as good at it as I am, but that’s because you’re you, and I’m Sterling Archer. I know, I know, it sucks not being me. But don’t beat yourself up about it, because I’m going to show you all the good stuff—what to wear; what to drink; how to seduce women (and, when necessary, men); how to beat up men (and, when necessary, women); how to tell the difference between call girls and hookers (hint: when they’re dead, they’re just hookers) and everything about weapons, secret devices, lying ex-girlfriends, and turtlenecks. In a word? How to Archer.

Medieval Historical Time Travel Romance"An exciting historical [time travel] romance from the period of Robin Hood with many twists and turns along the way." Amazon ReviewLenore travels to England to fulfill her grandfather's dying wish to visit his homeland. In her grandfather's stead, she drags her good friend, Jack, along with her. Their hike through Sherwood Forest, however, takes a bad turn when a strange weather anomaly transports them to a Sherwood far denser than the one they'd set out in. Separated from Jack and wounded trying to escape the most authentically dressed medieval re-enactors she had ever seen, Lenore finds herself at the mercy of the archer who impaled her attackers, then chased her down. Damian suffers recurrent dreams of an angel calling him to his death. Seeing a strangely clothed lad stumbling along the woodland path, he watches from a distance. When the Woodward confronts the lad and pulls his hair free from its tie, Damian realizes this "lad" is not a lad at all, but rather the angel from his dreams. Damian's nightly visions have warned him that sparing her life will lead him down a path of destruction, but he cannot walk away. Raising his bow, he lets his arrows fly. Damian's loyalty to King Richard and Robyn of the Hood marks him an outlaw. A label he cares naught about. All he wants is the return of his ancestral lands and revenge on the brother of Nottingham's Sheriff for the death of his betrothed. Lenore wants only to find Jack and get back home to the future where she can ponder how to raise enough money to pay the taxes on the ranch she'd inherited from her grandfather. When sparks fly, however, even the best laid plans can fall asunder. Both know a union between them will only lead to heartache and death. But the attraction is too great to resist. Some things are worth dying for.

Little gods, big personalities! This series follows little versions of the Greek gods who are at a camp to learn how to control their powers and use them properly--as well as learn how to get along with one another. The Little Olympians have decided to start a camp paper to report on all their feats! Hermes writes about an archery contest that Artemis wins. However, when the paper comes out, most of the article is about Apollo and how well he did, and Artemis is only mentioned briefly. She confronts Hermes about this, and he says he was just really impressed by Apollo, and Apollo's bragging made for a better story. Can Artemis get the boys to understand how it feels to be overlooked?

Arash lives in the city of Ray in ancient Persia. At the age of twelve he is a capable archer. His dream is to shoot an arrow far enough to mark the border between the rival empires of Persia and Tooran. He believes that Simorgh the Queen of Birds has given him a message in the form of a riddle that will help him achieve his dream. But he is unaware that Ahriman the Devil and his Deevs are plotting against him. This book is inspired by the ancient story of Arash the Swift Arrow who with a single shot sent an arrow all the way to the Oxus River and marked the border between Persia and her rival empire of Tooran. The story introduces several other characters of Persian mythology including King Hooshang, Simorgh, Zahak, Ahriman and his Deevs, as well as the Zoroastrian philosophy of the constant battle between Good and Evil, to an audience of 8 to 12 year olds. Children with or without Persian heritage, might be more attracted to the mystery and intrigue in which the heroes are children their own age. 2nd edition includes references for further reading.

Is there any way she can convince Crockett to stay in her little backwoods community? And does the attraction between them have any chance of blossoming when Joanna's outlaw father is dead set against his daughter courting a preacher?

Haunting dreams reveal secrets from sixth-century China. Lilian, his lost love, assists him in finding the missing pieces of a past life. Drawn to live by the Tao Te Ching and the flowing movements of Taijiquan he embraces the simplicity of life. With a click of the mouse, I came to find Armin Hirmer, the Archer, within the confines of my modern silver machine. Certainly, it was not by chance, but a universal vibration radiating and my ability as an intuitive to capture what was revealed to my eyes. His photography mesmerized me, revealing a million oceans rippling the spirit within him.

Kiese Laymon called Shruti Swamy’s debut book of stories, A House Is a Body, “one of the greatest short story collections of the 2020s.” Now, Swamy brings us an accomplished and immersive coming-of-age novel set in the Bombay of the 1960s and 1970s. As a child, Vidya exists to serve her family, watch over her younger brother, and make sense of a motherless world. One day she catches sight of a class where the students are learning Kathak, a precise, dazzling form of dance that requires the utmost discipline and focus. Kathak quickly becomes the organizing principle of Vidya’s life, even as she leaves home for college, falls in love with her best friend, and battles demands on her time, her future, and her body. Can Vidya give herself over to her art and also be a wife in Bombay’s carefully delineated society? Can she shed the legacy of her own imperfect, unknowable mother? Must she, herself, also become a mother? Intensely lyrical and deeply sensual, with writing as rhythmically mesmerizing as Kathak itself, The Archer is about the transformative power of art and the possibilities that love can open when we’re ready.
